Good morning Mama's and Papa's little bloggers. Before I begin with my next blog I thought I would mention something important to help parents. I thought it would be useful to mention the size of any little toys and articles I photo to help you bring into perspective the size of what you seen.
This little elephant measure from the bottom of the leg to the top 4 and half inches in height and from the tail to the tip of the trunk 6 and half inches in width
When we think about recyling we think of the obvious things to recyle, plastic bottles, tin cans cardboard boxes, that we can turn into something more useful. This little elephant is made out of tins of cans but not the obvious drinks, I can only identify a mango juice drink tin, the rest I don't recoginise and think these tins are from foreign countries. Here's a little puzzle, can you identify them?.
Many of the world's poorest countries are forced to recyle everyday not out of choice but out of poverty. Many of the children are forced into child labour to feed themselves and family, often caused by wars and persecutions, but what I want you to help your baby and toddler to do is this:
Teach them TO GIVE THANKS IN EVERYTHING. From the time they wake up to be breast fed or being spoon fed, praise them teaching them to cup their hands together and pray and give thanks. Even if you baby is not old enough to say their first words by showing them how to cup their hands together to pray you will help them on their way as they get older this will become natural.
Lastly, teach them as they get older to remember and pray for the poor and how to give and utilise what they have and be grateful.
