Different faces of our little ones

Good afternoon Mama's and Papa's little bloggers.

To the left is a picture showing 15 different faces and I can be sure most of your children have pulled most of them if not all.

Learning to interpret children's actions through facial expression is part of everyday parenting at home and especially at school. Have you ever thought of this, no human being walks around with a smile on there face 24 hours a day, or 7 days a week 365 days of a year, because a smile is considered something quite special and unique.

Children are taught to be happy by giving them cuddles, hugs, a little kiss on the cheek. Just think of all the 15 faces in the pic 'a smile is the one which most people will like to see on a baby and toddlers face' why? because we know our babies and toddlers are contented.

Smiling and feeling happy is infectious; one happy smile, laughter on a babies face can radiant to another baby in a second. So the earlier we teach our children how to be happy and know what makes them happy we can save ourselves some unnecessary worries.

Lastly, a little exercise for you. Tell your toddler to pull the most ugliest angry face and take a photo of it and stick it somewhere on the wall or on your wardrobe and put a note underneath it; ' you look so Ugly when you are angry'. Then take another pic of their most happiest face and stick it beside your ugly picture and write "I prefer me when you smile".
