Good afternoon Mama's and Papa's little bloggers. For the past 7 weeks you have been introduced to only one background colour on my blogging page, and that background colour is baby Green. When I photograph any lttle items for my next blogging post I will use anyone of these background colours.
Now for those parents who are teaching their Toddlers about Colours, I want to introduce some colours.
Firslty, when teaching toddlers about colours show them variations of colours like green, (but don't show them too many start of with 2 variations of green to help them identify colours). These next colours I am introducing them to, I also call these my Enviro colours or Natures colours. The first is Lilac, is a very lovely colour that signifies lots of promises. So whenever you dress your toddler in this colour remember the littel promises you have made to them, like "as a parent I will always love you and do my best to raise you in a loving environment"
The next colour is Hazelnut, show your toddler a Hazelnut, (if you toddler has a nut allergy and has a full set of teeth, please do not allow them to taste it). The next is Coral, the next time you buy and read to your toddler let them see pictures and colours and identify different fishes and things that are in our little streams, ponds. The next colour is Olvie, most people when they teach children just use the word Green, but Olive is such a pleasant colour, You can show your toddler an Olive and let them have a bite, show them a tree with olives on it.
The next colour is Buttercup. There are small flowers call Buttercups, when I was a child and out playing with other children, we used to hold the Buttercup in our fingers put it up to our chin and see if we could see a yellow reflection and make a wish. The last colour if Kingfisher, a Kingfisher is also a small colourful bird. You can show your Toddlers little birds, chicks or little ducklings to help them identify colours.
