Forgetfulness or Compassion

Good evening Mama's and Papa's little bloggers. We are sometimes stricken with grief, through loss and sorrow. However, what I don't like is when I post something and talk about forgetfulness, then can discern some disgruntled people coming out with singing "soon and very soon we are going to see the king!!!".

If you have just suffered loss, seen your own house been destroyed you wouldn't expect some ediot to come up to you and start singing "soon and very soon we are going to see the king!!!".

When you are watching the News and you hear of sudden disaster it is very easy to sit in your cosy house and dictate and talk crap! and sing religious tunes that have no revelance, forbearance of compasiion in any of the words of the song.

Although I have experience what it is like to:

Losse your Good Health,

Lose 4/5 jobs,

Lose your house you took out on mortgage after 5 years,

Lose a father through cancer

Been rejected and kicked out of two uni

I would much rather somebody quote the first one verses of this song, When i survey the wondrous cross than preach a sermon to me or sing song happy clappy tune "soon and very soon we are going to see the king!": When you know the Power of the Cross and you know who died and delivered you then everything else doesn't matter.

When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of Glory died My richest gain I count but loss And pour contempt on all my pride

Were the whole realm of nature mine That were a tribute far too small Love so amazing so divine Demands my soul my life my all
