Good Evening Mama's and Papa's little Bloggers.
As I sat in my living room feeling frustrated because I could discern church brethren harrassing me for something that don't belong to them, I felt relieved when I just listened to this sermon because it confirmed what I already knew.
Much of my Christian walk I have had the support of some Christians because I have a disability, but as soon as I open my mouth and make them know "I want to Stand on my on Two feet and Support myself" All hell breaks loose, why?. People do this to me all the time, desert me as soon as they see me fighting back and standing my Ground.
There is one Scripture that Joel did not mention and that was Naaman the Leper, he wanted Elisha to heal him on his Leprosy in his own way, he wanted Acknowledgement but at a level that was not in keeping with God or Elisha. Naaman wanted Elisha to wave his hand over him meet him physically to claim a great healing took place when all he had to do was wash in the River Jordan.
Whenever we always seek acknowledgement from man we will always be disappointed, as Christians I believe you will at one point in your life be tested to see who you really serve and who you value the most and, that means if you really want to be healed looked to JESUS the author and finisher of your faith.
