Mind your Peas and Carrot Rondo!

Good afternoon Mama's and Papa's little bloggers. This afternoon I will be helping your little ones to understand the heart.

Have you ever wondered what makes people tick?. The heart is a small valve in your body about the size of your fist, and its main vital function is to pump blood around the body, without it we will die.

Have you ever woken up and said to yourself "Hmmm my heart is full of S.H.I.T this morning", SMALL HOLLOW INSIGNIFICANT THINGS. Our lives are often cluttered with so many things that we consider to be important and they are not. Often they are small things that clog us up and stop us from moving forward, just like the heart. And when I use the word hollow, let me explain some Shopping Centres still have slot machines which have sweets in a jars, which you have to pay for before you receive it. You put your 2p in (now 20p) turn a handle and out pours a couple of round or oval pods shaped like an egg and when you open it, it's hollow in side but theres a little present inside. What we deposit in our little ones often determines what comes out of their mouth and dictates how they behave.

Secondly, how do you see your heart?, do you have a heart of Gold or a heart that is full of colour. Gold represents so many things to different people even Faith Groups. But showing a Baby and toddler objects in colour also helps them to identify them.

The different size hearts within the hearts represents the different nationalities of countries, some large, some very, very small. It could also represent a family, the hearts represents the degree of love surrounded around a small baby.

So the next time you are out shopping and are thinking of buying anything with a heart on it, ask yourself "what am I going to fill my heart with today".
