Good morning Mama's and Papa's little bloggers, my New Years's message to the poor.
Firstly, to all the poor in third world countries I cannot teach you anything about love because that I am sure many of you know already and that millions of you are already broken by poverty and starvation caused by drought, famine, floods and wars which have left millions as refugees and fleeing their own country to go to another country hoping for a better life.
So my message to you is let 'Hope overcome your brokenness' because hope spurs us on and gives you the assurance and promise of a better life to come. So I hope that which ever country you are in, if you are sitting in a field with no food, and the ground is parched and broken due to famine and lack of rain, I hope for rain to come quickly and for seeds to form in the ground and for that seed to become a shoot, and for shoot to grow into a reed, that reed to grow into vegetation that produces much fruit for the season to feed not just you but a whole entire family and village for many years to come.
I hope that the wars that brings so much pain, death, separation, devasatation, starvation, disease will cease and I command peace to enter into peoples homes, the streets, hospitals, homes, schools, work places, government buildings, military and police personnel so that they may know that there is a heavenly Father that cares.
Lastly, I pray and hope that all the children who have become orphaned will find somewhere that they will be able to call a home and find someone who will look after them, feed them cloth them, teach them, protect them, nuture them, bathe them, and watch over them and lead them to safe havens so they may find true rest in their small souls.
May prayer is for every orphan to find food to eat this morning, afternoon and evening and everday throughout their life. May they sleep in peace.
So if anyone is waking up early this morning and has seen this message dig deep into your pocket this morning and give something to help feed the poor.
