Good morning Mama's and Papa's little bloggers.
To continue my blog on 'Parents do you like being pointed at?'. When you have a disability you are pointed at more often than an Able bodied person. The pointing of fingers could be for different reasons, i.e you have a physical disability which makes people stare and treat you differently, or an useen disability which people know about which also still makes people stare and treat you differently. The way how some people see disabilities is a personal issue and not always a vocal issue.
Maybe you are a parent who has a child/children with disabilites, and sometimes you may feel people are pointing at you not necessary to your face but metaphorically speaking silently, because they want to know how you cope, especially if you are a single parent.
If you have a disability NO person should point the finger at you just because of your disability.
There are many people with disabilities who have become celebrities, especially in sports or as a presenter. And then there are those who have disabilities who are achievers but we never ever get to hear about them, these are the Poor and the Orphans of this world in Third World Countries. There are many children with disabilites who are Poor and Orphaned in Third World and war torn Countries, and we never hear enough about them.
There are many Charities doing good work for those who have disabilities and some have become casualties of Bankruptcy most recently to my surprise SCOPE, actually I shouldn't use the word Bankruptcy but the words "fallen into financial difficulty" because I believe in a God who is a miracle worker and can turn any company that has fallen into financial difficulty around. Sometimes you have to think logically and scale down your business to keep it afloat and as one Pastor in New Life Church, Croydon Encourage me and wrote in a book he had written and I read to 'KEEP GOING'.
I pray that no more Charities who work with people with Disabilities will become bankrupt and will continue to thrive.
Needless to say All Nations be Wise Blog page was set up to help Parent and young people to understand what people with disabilities encounter.
However, there are some people, both non-Christian, some Organisations and Christians in the church who are predominently ABLE BODIED, men and woman who want to take advantage of All Nations be Wise just because they have Children of their own or some role in a Nursery, School or the church working with children, or children with Special Needs they think and believe they can do a better job running this website when they don't even have any longterm disability, no knowledge or experience of business or running a website.
What I don't like about such people is the way they collaborate together, and plot things. Sometimes their tactics and motive are obvious. Most just want Media attention and like the idea of networking with other business people.
