To continue on our pledge for Sustainability we have made some cushions that are 'a-pair' a term which we used for Toddlers to easily understand means they are a-symmetry.
Most young toddlers can understand if you explain and show them "to go and get your pair of shoes". Most toddlers identify quickly what is a pair simply by first looking at colours then shapes.
We have made the cushions 'a-pair' for two reasons; firstly some parents who are good at being sustainable are not fussed whether the cushions looks absolutely perfect but, as long as they are comfortable can be used in a sustainable way and meets the need for what to use it for, then it is OK. Secondly we want to teach toddlers that it is OK for colours not to be in symmetry when matching certain things up like clothes and they can still be worn and used.
Thirdly, we want parents to teach toddlers that by learning to place and cut out things in a better way they can save on time and use material by not been too fussed about pairing and matching.
However, for parents who are teaching toddlers about how to match colours and 'a-pair' we have made some cushions that are not a Pair; symmetry. They are available in both Pink and Green coloured stripes.
We hope your toddler, will find these cushions vibrant, fun to play with and comfortable to sleep on.
