The Right Way to Recieve a Blessing

Good morning Mama's and Papa's little bloggers.

This morning I want to teach you all something on the right way to receive a blessing it is simple. Firslty, to note many church leaders and christians teach young boys and girls and youths incorrectly about blessings. They quote from Old Testament Scripture and rely on stories like Jacob and Esau and frequently used Old Testament scriptures to bless their congregation, so because of this Christians get confused because they mixed Grace with the Law. We are no longer living under the Law spiritually but under God's Grace. Some Leaders don't know how to preach from New Testament Scipture thats why many Christians get confused.

As a young Christians growing up because of the way I was taught I was often craving after verbal blessings, laying on of hands and people giving me stuff. Until someone showed me a scripture, I think it was Abram who said " I will take nothing that is yours, less you should say, I have made your rich". As soon as thise verse was quoted to me I understood, something just dropped into my spirit that I must work and pay for everything myself.

Then a few years later I visited a church and heard a Pastor preaching a sermon he explained blessings and said "the scripture says "we are blessed in heavenly places" as soon as he said this, somehing just dropped into my spirit and from that day forward the craving for someone to bless me stopped because I realised I was blessed anyway in Christ.

Finally if you want to receive a blessing There is one simple Scripture Jesus said we must do and Matthew 11 verse 5 The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, The dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preach to them.

This is what is really required if you really want to be Blessed in life. Do Good and Goodness will fall on you. Not rely on the Balaams to Bless you!!!
