Good morning Mamas and Papas Little WIse Bloggers.
Your Attitude says a lot about you, I erasedl earlier blogs because this one blog says it all (some blogs I have to leave for Judges to see as I am preparing for a Court Case). Often I spend a lot blogging writing, explaining things, then all of a sudden the Holy Spirit will give me ONE WORD which cancels out everything I have written.
And the ONE WORD God gave me today is Attitude.
Many people do not have the RIGHT Attitude towards people, and it is this which is causing alot of problems in our Schools, Colleges, Universities, Work Environment in our churches, in our homes in our School Play Grounds, towards other Cultures.
Aim - sometimes we all aim to high in our walk in life. Some of use want to be the Prime Minister, we may have the qualification but we don't have the 'right character or temperament'. Then you have those that 'do have the right Character but they don't have the qualification so they get sidelined'. Often it is the ones who have the Character are the ones that meet the job description.
Teach - if you are a Teacher I have always said, First be the best teacher to your children and your family be the excellent example to those who you come into contact with everyday of your life.
Trust - Trust is something we learn and earn. I remember as a young Christian reading a book by an exoffender, The pastor gave this exoffender who was a Christian the "responsibility of the church offering to collect" to test his Character. If we are trying to earn the trust of someone DON'T be to quick to judge or condemn but having patience is the key to success.
Inspire - Start to inspire your children when they are very young, the bible says train up a child in the way he/she will go and he will not depart from it.
Train - Look for the Right method/s to train your children, try and use methods that add meaning to their life, don't be tempted to over exaggerate or complicate things. Give room for mistakes and allow your child to make them and watch them grow.
Unite - The bible says 'how pleasant it is when we dwell together in Unity'. There are many strives and quarrels in families. Informing, rebuking, encouraging, communicating is something I try to do with other members of my family. But there is always one that like to run to the NHS and feed them info. So Sometimes keeping the unity in family is not always possible especially when you can discern sibling rivalry.
When you have people in your family and Relatives who are all working and have always worked and have no disability its very easy to be looked at as the 'UNDERDOG'.
Develop - If you have a disability or are a parent looking after Children full time with a disability. Allow yourself sometime, develop yourself DON'T ALLOW people to use you all the time. Where there is a husband and wife in the home and, the wife is the one looking after the child with the disability often what happens the husband will go to the Work to earn the Bread money, but doesn't realise that the WIfe often needs a break and wants to do something more worthwhile while looking after the disabled child.
First by asking the Wife what else she would like to do would help. Take her on a meditteranean Cruise make her feel special, take her to an expensive restaurant and make her feel valuable don't treat her as just the Wife whose looking after the disabled Kid.
And plan an Activity for the disabled child who cannot walk, talk or do much brighten up their bedroom that brings a smile to their face and lightens their mood.
Encourage - lastly always seek to Encourage one another with love, tender mercies and hope.
