DONATIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS PURPOSE Cont...
SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES
Schools, Colleges and Universities and other Educational Establishments will not be eligible to apply for a Sewing Machine.
Sewing Machines are only made Accessible for those Households who consist of Children under the Age of 18 and, who really need them; SEND children or those children who other disabilities and as such who wear prosthetics.
WHAT MANDATORY INFORMATION WE WILL COLLECT ON THE APPLICATION FOR SEWING MACHINE
Parent’s and Childs Name, Permanent Address, Post Code, Preferred Contact Details, Email, Mobile Number, Disability information (optional), Age Consent of Parent/s, Age of Consent of Child, School or College they attend, Address of School or College including postcode, Contact details of Schools and College, Signature of Parents, Date and Time Application was Made whether the Child is Right-Handed or Left-Handed and whether they were Reading Glasses and What type of Sewing Machine you would prefer/require.
A Disclaimer will be made available on all Application Forms for Parents/ Guardian/S/Carer/s to sign.
WHAT INFORMATION WE WILL NOT COLLECT ON THE APPLICATION
All Nations be Wise will not ask any Parent/s or Guardians, Carers to disclose any Personal information on the child that may be detrimental to their Wellbeing or Safeguarding or which may infringe or their privacy, such as information on All Child’s Medical History and Medication taken. But we may ask for Consent to check with the NHS and to Verify both you as a Parent are at the legal age of Adulthood and your Child.
PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS
Once Applications are submitted you will be given 14 days to withdraw your application but this must be done in writing and by Emailed to Fun@allnationsbewise.org.uk. After the 14 days period you will not be given the option to withdraw your application.
Once Applications are processed and finalised a copy will be provided to Applicant/s. An option will be given whether you want copy to be by Email or by Post. We will contact Parent/s, Guardian or Carer within 4 weeks by email and by phone to confirm whether Sewing Machine is available to be delivered personally by All Nations be Wise or dispatched to be shipped and to confirm Date and Time the Order will be delivered. If more time is needed to supply a Sewing Machine Applicant/s will be notified.
PURCHASING OF SEWING MACHINES
Purchasing of Sewing Machines will be subject to Donation Funds available at the time of Application/s. No Applicant will be eligible to exchange Donations for a Loan or apply for a loan with All Nations be Wise.
Age related Appropriateness will always be taken into consideration when assessing a child’s need before purchasing a Sewing Machine.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
Delivery will be within twenty-three miles Radius only and Shipment by Courier will be beyond 23 miles Radius only. After the Warranty Period Parent/s/Guardian/Carer have a right to request their Application Form to be Shredded. But if this is not requested All Nations be Wise will only hold Applications on filefor a period of 2 years only.
Once Sewing Machines are Delivered, Orders will not be subject to be returned unless they are faulty and cannot be repaired and within the Warranty period.
DATA PROTECTION ACT 2018 & UPDATES 2026
Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Data Protection Act 2018 & Updates 2025 All Nations be Wise are legally required by law to collect, monitor and Safeguard All data of all Donors especially Children under the age of 18 and especially under the age of 13 who may use our Donation Page unknowingly.
All Nations be Wise, will treat all data under the Data Protection Act 2018 and what is recorded about our Donors in Confidence, and in accordance to Data Use and Access Rights Act 2025, we will not use defamatory, misleading, provoking, misrepresenting information, or disclose, or use obscene, racially motivated, discriminatory language that encourages violence, or use threatening abusive language or forward on, misuse, manipulate information, disseminate or use unsolicited material or data whether directly or indirectly to promote our Donations, that may be detrimental and cause harm to Donors especially babies or children.
All Nations be Wise will not hold data on for longer than necessary. And will only be stored for a limited period until it is safe to erase all information. All Data regarding Applications made for a Sewing Machine
On Completion of the Application Form Parent/Guardian Carer have a right to withdraw and cancel their Application form for a Sewing Machine within 14 days and have all Data Shredded this must be in Writing and emailed to fun@allnationsbewise.org.uk. After 14 days period cancellations will not be accepted unless under exceptional circumstances; serious illness, death whether accidental or negligible or Detection of Cyber Fraud or Money Laundering.
All Nations be Wise will also provide a Confidentiality Declaration Statement on Applications for Applicants to read and sign.
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Social Media may be used to ascertain and verify both Parent and Child/Children who are making an Application for a Sewing Machine, but All Nations be Wise will not Soley rely on Social Media Platforms to verify who you are, and only in exceptional circumstances where we suspect and detect fraudulent Activity we may need to confer with the Police and other Agencies.
